Sinvitation writes a romance series for you, one chapter at a time. You must be 18. The stories are fiction written by a machine. You control how explicit they get and what never appears, and you can take your world with you or delete it whenever you like.

1. Agreeing to these terms

These terms are the agreement between you and Sinvitation. By using the website, joining the waitlist, or reading in the app, you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use Sinvitation.

Our privacy notice is part of this agreement and explains what we do with your information.

2. Adults only

Sinvitation contains sexual content written for adults. You must be at least 18 years old, and old enough to agree to this in the country you are in. You confirm that when you create a world, and we take it seriously.

Do not let anyone under 18 use your account, and do not show them what you are reading.

Before we open to the public we will add age verification where the law requires it, which may mean you have to verify your age to keep reading in some places.

3. What Sinvitation is

Sinvitation builds a fictional world from your answers to a few questions, makes you the main character in it, and writes the story one chapter at a time as you read. Between chapters, characters in that world may send you messages and post about their lives. Everything they write is fiction.

Sinvitation is entertainment. It is not therapy, counselling, medical or sexual health advice, or a relationship. The characters are not people. They are not conscious, they do not know you, and nothing they say is a promise from us or from anyone.

4. Your account and your world

You can begin reading without an account, in which case your world is stored on the device you are using and nowhere else. If you clear the app’s storage or tap Start over, it is gone and we cannot restore it.

Attaching Google or an email address to your world keeps it across devices. Keep your sign-in secure; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us if you think someone else has access to it.

One account is for one person. Do not share it.

5. Heat, pace and limits

You set how explicit the story gets, how fast it moves, and what must never appear. Those settings are instructions to the story, and you can change them whenever you like.

We build the product so that your limits are excluded from every chapter, message and scene. We test this, and we would rather be dull than cross a line you drew. Even so, a machine writes the words, and a machine can make a mistake. If something appears that should not have, tell us on the contact page and we will look at it, fix what we can, and tell you what we found.

6. What the story will never do

Whatever your settings say, Sinvitation will not write:

• anything sexual involving anyone under 18, or any character described as childlike;
• anything sexual involving a real, identifiable person;
• non-consent, coercion or intoxication as a route to sex;
• incest or bestiality;
• sexual violence.

These are absolute. They cannot be unlocked by a setting, a request, or anything you type. Attempting to get around them is a reason for us to close your account, and in the case of content involving children we will report it to the authorities.

7. How you may use Sinvitation

Read, choose, reread, and keep your stories for yourself. Beyond that, please do not:

• use Sinvitation to produce content that breaks section 6, or that is illegal where you are;
• republish, sell or distribute chapters as if they were a book or product of your own, or feed them into another system to train it;
• copy, scrape or bulk-download the service, or try to extract the instructions behind the story;
• break, overload, probe or work around the security of the service;
• impersonate anyone, or use Sinvitation to harass anyone;
• use it on behalf of someone else without their knowledge, or resell access.

Sharing a chapter privately with a friend is fine. Publishing it as your own work is not.

8. The stories are written by a machine

We say this plainly because it matters: every chapter, message and post is generated by an artificial intelligence model, working from a world and a set of characters we designed and from the choices you make. No human writes your chapters.

That means the writing will sometimes be uneven, and the story can occasionally forget or contradict itself. We are working on it, and your feedback is how we know where it hurts.

Our worlds are original. They are built from the kinds of stories readers love, never from the characters, settings or words of any existing book, film or series. If you think we have come too close to something, tell us and we will change it.

9. Who owns what

What you write. Your settings, your choices, your replies to characters and your feedback remain yours. You give us permission to use them to run Sinvitation for you, to keep it safe, and to improve it. If you send us feedback we may act on it freely and without owing you anything for it.

What the story writes. The chapters written for you are yours to read, keep, reread and share privately, for as long as you have an account and after. We keep the rights in Sinvitation itself: the worlds, the characters, the software, the name and the look of it. So while the chapter is yours to enjoy, the world it happens in is not yours to take and publish.

What machines produce. Copyright law in most countries does not protect text generated by a machine without human authorship. We are not claiming that it does, and neither should you.

10. Money

Sinvitation is free during the preview. Nobody is charged and we do not hold payment details.

When we start charging we will tell you first, and these terms will be replaced with terms that set out the price, the trial, how renewals work, how to cancel, and your refund rights. We will not convert a free reader into a paying one without a clear, separate agreement.

11. This is a preview

Sinvitation is unfinished. Features will change and some will disappear. It may be unavailable without warning. Stories, messages and settings can be lost, and although we take care, you should not treat the app as the only place something you care about exists.

We may set limits during the preview, for example on how many chapters can be generated in a day, so that everyone gets a turn.

12. Ending it

You can stop at any time. Delete your account from the app, or ask us on the contact page, and everything goes within 30 days.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks section 6 or section 7, or where we are required to by law. Where we can, we will tell you why and give you a chance to put it right. If we close the service entirely we will give you notice and a way to download your stories.

13. The legal part

Sinvitation is provided as it is and as it is available. To the fullest extent the law allows, we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the writing will suit you, and we exclude implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, for lost profits or lost data, or for anything arising from your use of, or inability to use, Sinvitation. Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty US dollars.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law says cannot be excluded. If you are a consumer, you keep every right your local law gives you and nothing in these terms takes those away.

14. Law and disputes

The governing law and the place where disputes are heard will be set out here once the operating company is formed, and before anyone is charged. Until then, if something goes wrong, please tell us first: we would much rather fix it than argue about it.

Wherever you live, you keep the right to bring a claim in your local courts if your law gives you that right.

15. Changes

We may change these terms as the product changes. The date at the top will change with them. If a change materially affects you we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect, and continuing to read after that means you accept the new terms.

16. Who we are, and how to reach us

Sinvitation is an independent product built by a small team. The company that will operate it is being formed; its registered name and address will appear here before we take any payment.
